Miss Wisconsin Wins Miss America Contest

The 23-year-old beauty queen from Wisconsin has won the Miss America beauty pageant held on Saturday in Los Angeles after singing opera and wore a white bikini and a black evening gown sprinkled with beads.

Laura Kaeppeler must also answer questions about whether a beauty queen should express his political views.

"Miss America represents everyone, I think the politicians also represent all the people," he said. "And in the current economic situation, we need to see what America needs in the future, and I think Miss America should represent all of that."
